Conference Interpreting Programme

Our full-time Conference Interpreting Programme leads to an MA (magisterium) in English (Translation Studies) and a Certificate in Conference Interpreting. It currently involves 2 active working languages (A. Polish B. English) and additionally offers advanced training in German and a beginner course in Portuguese. It covers 4 semesters and provides about 1400 contact hours. The programme focuses on bi-directional consecutive interpreting and simultaneous interpreting (into the mother tongue and into English).

The programme is open to all candidates holding the first academic degree ( licencjat ) , who have been admitted to any M.A. programme offered by the School of English.
