34th Poznan Linguistic Meeting

1-3 May 2003

Poznan, Poland

SECOND CIRCULAR (March 2003)

Dear Colleagues,

We have successfully completed the process of reviewing paper proposals. Most of the abstracts we have received have already been posted on our website; the remaining ones will appear shortly.

In connection with this, we would like to ask all those of you who have not yet sent us an abstract of the paper they have proposed for presentation at PLM2003 to do so at their earliest convenience.

Also, those of you who have not yet registered with all the necessary details are kindly requested to use the online form on our website to do so as soon as possible. Please note that the information is essential for us, as it is necessary for the process of booking accommodation for you. Would you also be so kind as to confirm your date of arrival in Poznan as well your point of arrival (railway station/airport/other).

A tentative timetable for the conference has also been posted on our site. In addition to that, the site also contains a section with practical information concerning such issues as travelling to and from Poznan, money exchange, etc. This will be useful especially for guests from abroad. Note, for instance, that the 1st and 3rd of May are public holidays in Poland, and as a result most banks will be closed. Please consult the site for more details.

We would like to remind you that during the whole duration of the conference (full three days), a book exhibition and sale will be organised by the Omnibus bookshop, offering attractive prices on books from major scientific publishers. Also, Apple Poland will organise an exhibition of their most recent equipment on the 2nd and 3rd of May.

The conference venue offers all the standard equipment. However, if you would like any specific software to be available for your presentation, please contact us to inquire about the possible options.

Should you require any further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us at one of the addresses below (preferably by e-mail).

Looking forward to seeing you in Poznan,
