/^t/Even though production and sale of substances inducing hallucinations are prohibited in Poland as well as in many other countries, the governmental ban has never eliminated using drugs. There is no single reason why people use drugs regardless of the risk of being caught by the police. The problem seems to be more complex. First of all, people want to try something new - drugs make them feel better for a moment, especially in the stressful situations and predicaments of everyday life. Second, there are drugs that extremely activate human brain. People take them before important examinations or tests in order to be able to learn quickly and more easily. Another reason is that some drugs enable people to have a look inside their minds. These are most popular among writers, painters and other representatives of the cultural elite. Finally, some people use drugs because of the fashion - their friends or drug dealers convince them to try.
