/^t/Video and computer games promote violence in a sense that they contain a lot of cruel scenes. Parents hardly ever realize how violent are the games that their children play. There is a tendency among keen video game players to claim that the more bloody and violent the game is the better quality it has. In those games children are supposed to be accustomed not only to various kinds of weapons but also to various methods of killing. They wound their enemies with a knife, cut their heads off with swords or kill them with an electrical saw. These are only a few chosen examples but they are surely enough to illustrate the seriousness of the problem. Such violent scenes undeniably have a negative influence on children's minds. Psychiatrists claim that video and computer games have long-term psychological effects on young people, who after many hours of playing are not able to separate reality from the game. It is horrible to think about possible results of this.
