/^t/There are lies that are considered benign. These are the so called "white lies". An hour before the examination, that we have once sat, a friend asks to tell him or her something about it. We know that this particular examination was hard and that it was not, at all, easy to pass it. The dilemma is whether to tell our friend the truth, knowing that he or she does not have enough time to study more or to lie. Admittedly, lying would be justifiable. First, our friend would not suffer from a nervous breakdown if we lied to him or her, whereas she or he would being told the truth. Second, being lied to, he or she could gain more self-assurance on learning that the examination is not that much difficult.
