/^t/The social factor is of vital importance for children brought up by gay couples. The children would not be accepted by peers, who impose a great pressure on them. They would be constantly scoffed at and feel ashamed of their stepparents. Therefore, they would find it hard to get their place in the society. Not being understood by others and having no friends would result in their aggressive behaviour and nervous breadowns. In addition, very sensitive children would take up alcohol or drugs, some would commit suicide. Definitely, for the majority of them, the psychological torment would be unbearable. In some cases, they would turn to a psychologist or psychiatrist as a last resort.
