Opening of Polish borders gave the Poles almost free access to the smuggled weapon, and to contacts with foreign organized crime. The Polish legal system after over forty years of the communist regime is not prepared how to deal with the organized crime. Many people are very eager to use the loopholes and unstable economical and political situation to become rich very quickly by all means.
