/^t/The modern world is characterized not only by the growing violence rate, but also by the complete lack of tolerance and strongly rooted prejudicies against any differences. People, by and large, try only to keep appearances of being tolerant, whereas they at heart, are fierce opponents of everybody who is different in political, social or sexual orientation. Being different, means for them, being worse. So, there is no obstacle to look down on homosexuals, single mothers, people of different political and religious beliefs. Let's set as an example people's attitude towards homosexuals. Are they accepted? No, of course, they aren't. What's even more pessimistic, the gays couples have no chances of a better treatment in future. Taking this into consideration, isn't it only an outdated, hypocritic theory that people are tolerant?
