Classes seem to be overcrowded - the number of pupils rarely drops below 30. Whereas in non-public schools one of the basic principles is that a single class should consist of no more than 15-20 pupils. This principle provides satisfactory conditions for learning and teaching. It is easier to draw attention of a smaller group of children and make them concentrate on the subject. Also, introducing new material or explaining questions arising in the course of the lesson, seem to be less problematic when there are fewer pupils.
