McDonald's provide a very high standard of service and, being competitive, they can help to eliminate the worst kinds of food from the Polish fast-food market. Apart from this, McDonald's restaurant does not pose a threat to domestic food production. They want to cooperate with Polish farmers and buy products from them. In this way French fries and hamburgers sold in McDonald's will be Polish potatoes and meat prepared by Polish staff. In other words they do not want to compete with a weak Polish economy but invest their money into it.
