There may be other schools but they do not offer any degree, and the universities or colleges are rarely located in small towns. Similarly, there are not many places offering jobs, both for the better and less educated, since small towns are naturally less devoleped in the idustrial and, as mentioned, educational sense. It causes the life in a small town to be more difficult for people who look for jobs, or education. Those are forced to move to larger towns.
