And here are the adverts which give him an ample opportunity to compare the competitive products. For example a man who is exposed to adverts for a few hours a day subconsciously decides which product he would buy and which not. He saves his precious time doing shopping as he does not have to ponder on which washing powder to choose, for instance. He saw a well-known person advertising it on TV so he takes the advertised one, though more expensive, on the principle that "it is quality not quantity that really counts".
