/^t/Let us try to find out whether labour unions are really able to influence governmental decisions in order to support workers. In fact, the government is in charge of making decisions, which must be accepted by the Parliament. These two bodies are always elected - sometimes indirectly - by majority of a society. Thus, no minority - of which a labour union is a representative - will have impact on the representative of a majority. This is a rule of any democracy.
