The habit of heroin can cost about 500 złotych a week and cocaine costs from 150-200 złotych for one 0,7g dose, which is nothing for the person who is addicted. Even though many professional and well-off people have money to buy drugs, they lose as the drugs run their lives and they are not able to earn their living. They often turn to crime, as they want to buy narcotics, which leads to being arrested and taken to prison.
