They succumb easily to temptations regardless of their quality. Very often chilldren become unusually demanding and egoistic, nagging their parents to buy them toys or other gadgets they saw in TV adverts. Obviously the high costs of advertising, promoting, and marketing the products contribute to the already high prices. The result is parents spending money on things their offspring do not need but must possess due to their peers' pressure to keep up with the latest fashion (e.g. Japanese cyber pets).
