/^t/The controversial topic of sexual education triggers heated discussions both in the United States and in Poland. This issue, however, is differently broken into the American and Polish school systems. The most important discrepancy between the two systems is in the authorities' attitude towards sex. While in the United States this subject is openly and freely debated, Polish authorities adamantly oppose discussions of such matters as safe sex and contraception. On the other hand, Polish and American educational systems resemble each other in the fact that there is no national curriculum for the course of sexual education.
