7th Medieval English Studies Symposium

Second Circular and Call for Papers

Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to inform you that the preparations for the 7th Medieval English Studies Symposium (MESS 7), organised by the School of English, Adam Mickiewicz University (22 - 23 November 2008), are in progress.

Four plenary sessions have been scheduled with papers by:

Professor Barbara Kowalik (Warsaw University, Poland)
Professor Rory McTurk (University of Leeds, UK)
Professor Rafal Molencki (University of Silesia, Poland)
Professor Irma Taavitsainen (University of Helsinki, Finland)

Papers
Abstracts of papers and registration will be accepted until the end of July 2008.

Venue and Accommodation
The conference will be held at the following venue:

Jowita, ul. Zwierzyniecka 7, 60-813 Poznan, phone no.: +48 61 8292500.

We will book your accommodation at the Jowita according to the details submitted by you with the registration form or in the subsequent email correspondence. The payment should be made on arrival at the reception desk (the cost of a single room is 80 PLN).
The Jowita is situated in the very center of Poznan, next to the Kaponiera roundabout, a ten-minute walk from the railway station Poznan Glówny.
