THE VENUE

Our University's new campus in Poznań's nothern suburb of Morasko offers all the necessary conference facilities (full audio-visual equipment in each room) as well as attractive, green surroundings. You may visit the page of our Physics Institute, the main user of the campus (Polish only). The page contains a map showing how to get to the campus from the city centre, as well as a ground plan and photographs of the buildings. Click on the "Strona główna" button to browse through more photos.

There will be two buses to take the conference participants from the Polonez Hotel to the conference venue and back.

IF YOU NEED TO GET TO THE CAMPUS ON YOUR OWN

The address of the Physics Institute is ulica Umultowska 85.

A taxi to the campus from the city centre should be about 25 PLN.

To get there by public transport, you may consult the map mentioned above (bottom left, click to enlarge). Tram lines are marked in red, bus lines are marked in blue. At the railway station, climb onto the bridge in front of the main entrance (Most Dworcowy). Take trams no. 12 or 14 going in the direction of os. Jana III Sobieskiego. After about 12 minutes,  get off at the stop called Kurpinskiego (black-on-orange signs). Climb the stairs to the bridge overhead, following signs for "kierunek Umultowska". Get bus no. 87 going in the direction of Os. Rózany Potok. After about 8 minutes (right after passing through a level railway crossing - impossible to miss), get off at Instytut Fizyki (the name should be shown on the display in the bus). The first building on the left hand side of the campus entrance drive is the Physics Institute.
