PLM
2003
The
34th
Poznań Linguistic Meeting was organised by the School of English, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland.
PLM2003 took place on 1-3 May 2003 at our University's new
campus in Poznań's northern suburb of Morasko. The University's
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bronisław Marciniak, and the Mayor of Poznań, Mr Ryszard
Grobelny, were the honorary patrons of the Meeting.
The Meeting was a success; in particular, the Focus on Accents session on the first day sparked heated debate. A volume from the session, edited by Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk and Joanna Przedlacka, will be published next year. There will also be a volume of Poznań Studies in Contemporary Linguistics based on papers from the Syntax session.
You may use the menu on the left to navigate through the contents of PLM 2003, including abstracts of the papers presented at the Meeting.
