The Poznań Linguistic Meeting (PLM) is an annual general linguistics conference that continues the tradition of the Polish-English contrastive conferences started by Jacek Fisiak in 1970. The name "Poznań Linguistic Meeting" was adopted in 1997, when Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk took over as the Head of the Organising Committee. The Meetings are organised by the School of English, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. Materials from past PLMs are archived here.

The 38th Poznań Linguistic Meeting (PLM2007) was held on 13-16 September 2007 in Gniezno, Poland.
The leitmotif of the 38th PLM was Linguistic topics at the start of the new century: an overview. The aim of PLM2007 was to provide an overview of current topics in linguistics in the first decade of the 21st century. A listing of the sessions is available here. All submissions were reviewed by our International Advisory Board; we would like to extend our cordial thanks to all the members of the Board for their assistance in the reviewing process.
The honorary patrons of the Meeting were Rector Magnificus of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Prof. Stanisław Lorenc, the President of Poznań, Ryszard Grobelny, and the President of Gniezno, Jacek Kowalski.
